Unfortunately, I'm afraid the opposite is often true: People who abuse their power often aren't exposed because of their power.

While anyone can be greedy, I tend to believe victims more than alleged perpetrators. My thinking is in line with statistics. While false rape allegations are very rare, they would make up an even smaller amount of allegations because, as I noted in this article, most people do not report their perpetrator.
