Hit the nail on the head here! I would say reputation is important and so are their capitalistic goals. They see women more as a product/means to money than a person.

I remember watching a documentary about the Olympic Gymnastics and feeling livid. How did so many adults sell their souls to normalize the abuse of those children? Disgusting.

The last point you made is an important one and, I believe, the core belief of why many normalize sexual harassment. If the producer harassed you, it's okay because you got a record deal. If the coach harassed you, it's okay because he gave you a spot on the team. As a society, we need to realize that sexual harassment isn't something we 'exchange' for something else. It's harassment, period.
